Beginning in Australia in the world renown McLaren Vale Wine Region as a private estate residence for the owner Peter Cap and his growing family of 3 children. Peter had a vision for the future and dreamed of constructing a unique family business in this famous wine area environment he was poised to create the best wines the region could create and then showcase these to the world.
With Peter’s extensive knowledge of the region he was also able to build relationships with many growers and experts in the region. He was able to secure suppler relationships to enable Manor Estate Wines to continually have access to perfect quantities of fruit to match production supply requirements. This way Manor Estate Wines has always maintained supply to its consumers.
With Peter’s background in Organic Chemistry viva culture and wine making it was a logical step toward the creation of the new wines created and now cataloged by Manor Estate Wines. Wine production begun in 2002 with the fermentation of the first vintages. Focusing on full bodied characteristic reds, crisp whites and vibrant sparkling wines the vintages begun flowing. Manor Estate Wines nearly 2 decades later now supplies local restaurants and venues in South Australia and Victoria. It also has had success in the focus on Export and currently has developed export relationships with many countries globally with particular connections in NYC and generally in the USA, China, Ireland, Denmark, India and Thailand.
Its warehouses stock up to 150,000 litres of bulk wines, some hundreds of wine in french oak and many thousand bottled wines ready for distribution worldwide. Production capabilities are in access of 40,000 bottles weekly.
