2013 Shiraz Limited Reserve
2013 Shiraz Limited Reserve
The wine spends 6-8 days fermenting in stainless steel static tanks prior to pressing. This is followed by malolactic fermentation in tanks prior to maturation in American and French oak. All parcels are blended for consistency, quality, and expression of the fruit characteristics for which South Australian Shiraz is justly famed.
Tasting Note:
This deep ruby red wine displays a nose consisting of fruit flavours, of which plum, blackcurrant, and raspberry are the most frequently recognized. Subtle oak characteristics add a hint of chocolate and spice combining with fruitiness to form a smooth well-balanced, taste experience.
Food Pairings:
Enjoy Manor Estate Shiraz with red meat and mildly spicy ethnic foods. Traditional American barbecued brisket and other grilled meats as well as vegetables are excellent pairings for this wine. Beef steaks, lamb and mutton, whether grilled, stewed, or casseroled, are among the home-style pairings that are a perfect match for our Shiraz.
